John Spagnuolo - President

Dr. Robert Schmid - Cyber Security Analyst
Dr. Robert Schmid is the New Media Institute’s cyber security analyst, where he works with the institute on security issues affecting the Internet and other forms of new media. His expertise on internet security includes 9/11 related recovery issues, anti-terrorism issues, corporate and personal internet security.  Dr. Schmid is the founder of CyberSecure Technologies and has been an IT professional for over two decades. Peter E. Nussbaum - Legal Analyst
Peter Nussbaum is the Legal Analyst for the New Media Institute.  Mr. Nussbaum is widely known as a leading expert in Trademark, Domain Name Dispute, Unfair Competition, Copyright and Computer Law.  He also serves as a partner in Wolff and Samson PC Counsellors at Law.  Mr. Nussbaum has lectured on trademark issues related to the music industry at NYU and Seton Hall Law School.  Mr. Nussbaum has been a member of the International Trademark Association's Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee. Barbara J. Eber, MBA, MUP - Executive Vice President
Barbara Eber is the Executive Vice President and co-founder of the New Media Institute (NMI), where she works on media issues surrounding the Internet and other forms of new media. Barbara also serves as COO for the organization on administrative and business related endeavors. Prior to joining NMI, Barbara was President of CyberSecure Technologies, a full service IT consulting firm, serving small and medium sized businesses in the New York metropolitan area.  (read full bio)

Stanley H. Kremen, Patent and Computer Forensics Analyst
Stanley Kremen is the Analyst in Patents and Computer Forensics for the New Media Institute. Mr. Kremen is a patent practitioner licensed by the United States Patent and Trademark Office. While he has obtained patents for his clients in many different fields, his areas of patent specialization include software, business methods, optics, and physics. In addition, since 1986, Mr. Kremen has been a prominent forensic consultant to attorneys and clients in the area of computer litigation, both civil and criminal.  (read full bio
