The New Media Institute offers both individual and corporate membership.  While all information and research gathered is available free to the public, membership offers valuable benefits:

INDIVIDUAL MEMBERSHIP ($150 / year)

If you would like to become an Individual Member of NMI, simply fill out the individual membership application.

CORPORATE MEMBERSHIP
($1,500 / year)

As an NMI Corporate Member, here is a listing of some of your benefits:

  • NMI Research Committee - Your organization will have a seat on this committee, which helps guide the topics and issues the Institute focuses on in future research.  This is an important part of NMI and we encourage full participation.

  • NMI Reports & Analysis - Your organization will receive NMI reports and analysis prior to public distribution.  This gives your organization some time to utilize this research for your organization's own public relations efforts.

  • Directory of Resources Listing - If your organization offers services related to new media, you have the option of being listed in the New Media Directory of Resources.  Beyond a listing, your organization will be able to post a Corporate Profile on newmedia.org, which is essentially a page dedicated to explaining the services of your company.

  • NMI Affiliation - Aside from having the ability to state that your organization is a member of the New Media Institute, you will also have the option of posting the "Member of the New Media Institute" graphic on your Web site, with a link to your company profile (if you so chose).

  • NMI Conferences - All employees of your company will be eligible for a 20% discount on NMI Conferences.
