Top Canadian Web Rankings for December, 2007
Today, comScore released its December rankings of the largest and fastest-growing Internet properties and site categories in Canada based on data from the comScore World Metrix audience measurement service. “Retail sites showed strong growth as online holiday shopping reached a fevered pitch in December,” said Brent Bernie, president of comScore Media Metrix, comScore Canada.
Top Web Sites in France for November
Google was the most visited property in France in November, with 19.6 million unique visitors age 15 or older, reaching 69 percent of the total French Internet audience. It was followed by Microsoft Sites which attracted nearly 18 million unique visitors, a 64 percent reach. The fastest growing of the top ten properties was multi-channel retailer, Groupe PPR, owner of sites such as Laredoute.fr and Fnac.com. The property grew 10 percent from October, attracting 10.7 million unique visitors in November, a 38 percent reach and its largest ever online audience.
PC Magazine Top 100 Web Sites for 2007
This is PC Magazine’s list of the Top 100 Classic Web Sites in 2007. PC Magazine notes that a lot of familiar URLs are on the list, but that there are also quite a few that are relatively unknown. These sites are established and generally tops in their respective categories.
Top Web Sites in U.K. for August -- Facebook the Fastest Growing Site in the U.K.
Today, comSscore released its report on the top Internet properties and the top gaining properties in the U.K. for August, based on data collected through the comScore World Metrix audience measurement service. Google was the most visited property in August, with 28.3 million unique visitors age 15 or older, reaching 89 percent of the total U.K. Internet audience. It was followed by Microsoft Sites, which attracted 26.8 million unique visitors, an 83 percent reach.
Top Japanese Web Rankings for August
Today, comScore released its ranking of the top Internet and top-gaining properties in Japan based on data collected through its comScore World Metrix audience ratings service. In August, nearly 54 million people in Japan age 15 or older went online from either home or work locations, averaging 19 hours online during the month.
