THE 2007 NEW MEDIA AWARDS

This is by far the most prestigious international “Web Awards” competition. Judges include top academics and industry professionals throughout the world. Unlike many competitions, finalists are NOT selected based solely on design, but how well they are using this technology to serve and communicate to their audience. Most importantly, the size of your organization or your Web site is not a consideration in judging.

• Validation - You will know that your Web site is recognized as an outstanding use of new media in communications. Since this is a high profile competition, your employer, clients, competition and the general public will know what you have accomplished and you will receive the credit that is so well deserved.
  
  
• Induction into the Internet Hall of Fame – All category winners will be honored in the Internet Hall of Fame (IHF). An entire page will be dedicated to your Web site and your accomplishment on IHF Web site. You will also be able to publish a summary of your site, pictures and video if you so chose. You will also be given an icon to place on your Web site that people can click on and view your inidividual page.
  
  
• Media Exposure – The New Media Institute and Internet Hall of Fame release the winners of each category of entry to the media. You will also receive a press release tailored to your entry that can be added to your site and released to the media.
  
  
• Trophy – Each winner will receive a trophy symbolizing their accomplishment. You will have the opportunity to edit the inscription on the trophy and order additional trophies.
